Many of you girls liked the smokey eye post so I decided to do another one of these. I love love love this smoked out eyeliner. It's really simple to do and doesn't require a lot of work. You can play this look up for a party or tone it down for a casual day.
Okay, getting started.
Apply scotch tape extending from the lower lash line upwards. This is an amazing trick to get that clean and crisp line.
Apply eyeliner as close to the upper lash line as possible.
Now, extend it and create a wing on the outer edge of the eye. The eyeliner doesn't have to be perfect because we are going to smoke it out.
You will need a stiff smudge brush like this to smoke out the eyeliner.
Take some black eyeshadow on the brush and starting from the wing smudge the eyeliner out.
Smudge till you get something that looks like this.
Go back in with your eyeliner and line close to your lash line. Don't forget to draw on the wing again.
Remove the tape and use a cutip to clean any mess. See that beautiful crisp line? Use tape to get perfect winged liner every time!
Apply eyeliner on the lower lash line and smudge it out with black eyeshadow just like we did for the upper lash line.
Apply a light shimmery color to the inner corners. This will open up the eyes.
Apply kohl in the waterline and finish off with mascara.
You can pair this eye look with a bright lipstick or even a more toned down nude lipstick. This is a gorgeous look for every shape and color. Play around to see how it suits you best.
