I have had a lot of work this week, so because of all the makeup and the sun, my skin became very dull and all my pores were badly blocked. I needed a deep cleanse, something to rejuvenate and brighten my skin.
This deep cleansing method is used in a lot of spas and parlors. The first steam your face and then exfoliate it, followed by a mask. But, instead of a mask, I went with a peel-off as it felt more appropriate, you know, all the dirt and grime peeled off.
Honestly, after this deep cleansing, I felt like my skin could breathe again. It felt so refreshing. This seriously reveals beautifully cleansed skin.
Tips on how to get clear a skin
- Step 1 – Steam your face for 10 mins to completely open all pores.
- Step 2 – Exfoliate with face scrub for 5 mins. Take your time, massage your whole face in a circular motion concentrating on areas where you have blocked pores (black and whiteheads). I used the St. Ives Apricot Scrub.
- Step 3 – Apply a peel-off mask on your complete face and neck leaving the eye area. Leave it on for 10-15 mins and then peel it off. I used the Himalaya Almond-Cucumber Peel Off Mask.
- Step 4 – Apply ice all over your face to close all pores and also to soothe the skin. Finish by applying your favorite moisturizer.
